Therm-X
Heat, Cold, Contrast & Compression
- Description
Description
Therm-X offers your patients heat, cold, contrast, and compression all in one easy-to-use device to provide maximum benefit with convenient new technology. In addition, vasopneumatic compression can be combined with any temperature to make the overall results even more effective.
Therm-X garments are designed to deliver treatment to your patients’:
- Ankle
- Back
- Elbow
- Knee
- Shoulder
- Hip
The Therm-X uses no ice and gets as low as 34 degrees. The heat is delivered up to 110 degrees. Acute, sub-acute, or chronic, Therm-X can do it all.
Unlike ice or hot packs, Therm-X maintains your desired tissue temperature throughout the entire treatment cycle. This ensures the maximum temperature transfer to the tissue for the best clinical effectiveness.
The fluid passes from the Therm-X control unit through one of several quick connect garments to circumferentially deliver your chosen temperature and compression to affect local pain and circulation. Combining these modalities allows for optimal thermal transfer.
The lightweight Therm-X is portable so it can easily be moved around or outside your facility.
